Saturday Morning Noise

Most people I know have a Saturday morning routine. You know, that thing you've been looking forward all week to doing after the luxury of a full night's sleep without the stress of rushing to work the next morning. For some, it's sleeping in. For others, it may be hitting the gym, reading their favorite news sites, catching up with personal emails, some combination thereof, or whatever. For me, it's throwing down an epic practice session at 10.00 AM with the opportunity to finally include all the new, hot jamz that have been on rotation on my iPhone all week long. As fun and important to me as this is, I have to admit that I sometimes feel (slightly) bad for my upstairs neighbor since I have no idea what his Saturday morning routine is, although I suspect that it's party influenced by me.
Plot twist alert!!!!
In the midst of writing this, I just noticed my upstairs neighbor packing his belongings into a UHaul truck. He's moving out! I can't wait to meet the next person who moves into the bedroom above our studio and begin a new noisy neighbor-disturbed neighbor relationship. As an aside, to be clear, I'm completely certain that my Saturday morning (and sometimes late night) jam sessions aren't the reason for my neighbor's departure. Regardless, just be happy that you don't live next door to a DJ.
